So Do You Think They Just Don’t Tell Him These Things?
21. May 2008 by admin.
Last week Pres. Bush, in a speech to the Israeli Knesset, mocked those who would negotiate with “terrorists and radicals” as appeasers to the Nazis. Today we discover in the NY Times that Israel and Syria are engaged in exactly those kind of talks with the aim of creating a comprehensive peace agreement. The kicker is, according to the Times, the talks “were coordinated with the United States”. So now we have a president who is criticizing his own administration? Or is the president out of the loop?
I’m going to miss the Bush administration. They make this blog so easy.

If Only The Weatherman Was As Accurate

As predicted, Hillary took Kentucky while Barack took Oregon. About the only interesting thing is the MSM is screaming about how Hill took Kentucky in a landslide 65%-30%, but according to the New York Times interactive graphic on their website, Barack took Oregon 68%-31%. Now, I’ll be the first to admit I suck at math, but even I can tell that means Barack took Oregon by two more points than Hillary took Kentucky. WTF?
Looking over the results this morning, I was struck by the thought that all three candidates are lying to us by pretending this is a three way race still. The only person who can reasonably believe that is Clinton, with the hope that Obama has a ‘macaca’ moment that implodes his campaign. This is the only chance she has of winning the nomination, and with the worshipful attitude the MSM has adopted toward Obama so far, it would be interesting to see how much bending the MSM would do before something became a ’scandal’.
I thought Barrack’s comments about Hillary were very nice, especially when contrasted with Bill’s accusations of sexism. I’m not sure Bill should be allowed to use that word, it makes too many people giggle uncontrollably.
It’s sad to see Mr. Straight-Talk start talking at an angle. His pandering to the Cuban population in South Florida about the Cuba Embargo is at odds with his position in 2000. Yes, they’re one of the most important voting blocks in one of the most important states, but there has to be a more honest way to earn their votes, like pimping out his daughter.
